Gerne doch.

Auf was lasse ich mich da ein.

(Sie sieht in Trainingsklamotten echt gut aus.)

Does that quote „It’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all“ have any merit?

Fuck yes. Love is awesome. Like motorcycles, sky diving, having sex in public, rock climbing, mid-air high fives and getting the last slice of pizza AND the last beer – all rolled into one.

Love is putting it all on black, spinning the wheel and winning.

Love is awesome, and that’s why love lost hurts so fucking bad. The high is so good that yes, the crash is going to hurt.

But if you’re looking for safety, and a beige coloured life well, you picked the wrong place to be born. This life is loud, dangerous, and it’ll almost certainly kill you.

So knowing you won’t make it out alive – what have you really got to lose?

Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Eine Generation von Computer-Analphabeten

Parents

Stop fixing things for your kids. You spend hours of your time potty-training them when they’re in their infancy, because being able to use the toilet is pretty much an essential skill in modern society. You need to do the same with technology. Buy them a computer by all means, but if it goes wrong, get them to fix it. Buy them a smartphone, give them £10 of app store credit a year and let them learn why in-app-purchases are a bad idea. When we teach kids to ride a bike, at some point we have to take the training wheels off. Here’s an idea. When they hit eleven, give them a plaintext file with ten-thousand WPA2 keys and tell them that the real one is in there somewhere. See how quickly they discover Python or Bash then.
